A Day in the Life

 

I pad around on four soft paws,

with urgent teeth I clean my claws,

lap water with my Velcro tongue,

I curl up when the day is done.

​

I slink and sneak, I make no sound,

I stalk my prey, low to the ground,

I dash and pounce, I prowl and leap,

but mostly I am fast asleep.
