About Attie

Attie writes poetry for children. She dreams of her own writing shed, and is a big fan of Post-It notes and pens.

Attie has been a Primary School teacher and a Pre-School teacher, among other things. She is a mum of three, a keen tea drinker, and can often be found running away from her own cat (he bites!).

​

Attie's debut poetry collection for children, Blue Jelly and Strawberries is out now with Otter-Barry Books, illustrated by Kate Sheppard.

Attie's second book, A Welly Full of Christmas, published by Tiny Tree Books and illustrated by Nadine Licence. is out now!
