About Attie

Attie writes poetry for children. She dreams of her own writing shed, and is a big fan of Post-It notes and pens.

Attie has been a Primary School teacher and a Pre-School teacher, among other things. She is a mum of three, a keen tea drinker, and can often be found running away from her own cat (he bites!).

Attie's debut poetry collection for children, Blue Jelly and Strawberries is out now with Otter-Barry Books, illustrated by Kate Sheppard.

Attie's second poetry collection for children is A Welly Full of Christmas, published by Tiny Tree Books, and illustrated by Nadine Licence. Out 30/10/25, it is available to pre-order now!
